Thanks to all who joined us in July to share their passion and participate in the weeklong opportunities designed to:

E X P L O R E new techniques and enhance their calligraphic repertoires,

C O N N E C T with the worldwide calligraphic community, and

I M A G I N E the artistic possibilities when calligraphy merges with other art forms.

The Letters Mingle Souls committee is pleased and proud to see our conference's success and the profound effect on its participants. Our week together at Letters Mingle Souls was one of the most well-attended conferences in a number of years. For this, the Directors along with the LMS steering committee send out a well-deserved “Thank YOU” to each and every attendee. Your participation is the reason for our success and allows this annual conference tradition to continue and flourish.

It is our hope that the information gained and skills learned will become an important part of your calligraphic identity. We also believe that friendships made and nurtured by these annual gatherings are equally essential to one's artistic awareness and growth. We encourage continued dialogue and interaction on stimulating calligraphic topics between now and next year's conference. In doing so, we cultivate friendships and promote continual artistic development. And so it is that “...For thus, friends absent speak.”
